I'm wanting to do a project but I doubt the project's structural integrety so I would want to limit it to 100 mph.

I have an adjustable shift light in my toy, when lending I've been known to set it down to 4000rpm. It usually does the trick

So wire a kill-switch that disconnects the battery and alternator from the fuse-box. They will need a flatbed to steal it then.
